Automatic Sale / New / Out of Stock ribbons

HJS Product Labels shows "Sale", "New" and "Out of Stock" ribbon labels over your product images - automatically, by rule. The ribbons appear on the product page and on every listing tile, so shoppers spot the products that matter at a glance. No per-product tagging to maintain.

Key features

• Three rule-based ribbons, applied automatically to every matching product: Sale (a valid current special price), New (added within a number of days you choose), Out of Stock (quantity has reached zero).
• Ribbons show on the product page AND on every listing surface - category pages, search results, the Specials page, manufacturer pages and related products.
• Per-label control of the text, background colour, text colour and corner (top-left or top-right). Ribbons sharing a corner stack neatly.
• A master on/off switch, plus an independent on/off for each label.
• Pure CSS overlays - your image files are never altered, and nothing is baked into the downloaded image.
• Display only - it never touches price, stock, cart or order data, so there is no risk to your checkout.
• Event-first integration: no Twig includes in modified templates, only two tiny, safe additions at the product image.
• Creates no database tables; uninstall removes only its own settings and events and leaves your catalogue untouched.
• No core files overwritten - installs as an OCMOD package.

What this extension does not do

Stated so expectations are right before purchase.

• No per-product manual label assignment - labels are rule-based only. You cannot hand-pick a ribbon onto individual products independently of the rules.
• No image compositing - the label is a CSS overlay, not baked into the image file, so it will not appear if the image is used outside the shop.
• No scheduling windows beyond the "New for how many days" value. The Sale ribbon follows OpenCart's own Special, which carries its own date window.
• Positioning is designed against the default OpenCart 4 theme. A heavily customised theme may render product images differently and need minor CSS adjustment.

• PHP tested: 8.4. PHP 8.5 is not yet supported.
• Works against the default OpenCart 4 theme.
